i am SAVED BY GRACE

I have been trying to do this…the more I try to captain my own ship on this sea of uncertainty, the farther off course I go. I think I know what is best for me but in reality God does, he says he will give us the things we need, and the desires of our hearts, and when we don’t get what “we wanted,” we get angry and say that God is mean, doesn’t exist, or is ignoring us, but we forget two key factors. 1. we don’t always know what the true desires of the heart are, often we seekk to fulfill the desires of the flesh (doesn’t automatically mean sex, but rather pleasure, i.e food, drugs, money, nice clothes, etc.) 2. We often forget that God literally lives outside the realm of time and space….we create the sense of time in our own minds as a way to cope with our own existance. Since God doesn’t have to “play by our rules” he can take what seems to us like “a long time, to act suddenly.”

Throughout all the trials in our lives, the wants and needs, desires, pains and sorrows we have to remember that there is an unforeseen purpose behind all this and eventually things will work out, just not in the way that you might have thought or expected…so keep you chin up and keep moving forward. (I’m talking to myself just as much as I am to all of you:)
